Relay for Life

In May we participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. We forgot our camera, so just now have pictures to show. This was our third year participating, but this year was even more important to us as we held in our hearts our friends and family recently affected by cancer. We were very happy to exceed our goal and raise $1,230 to contribute in the fight against cancer. The event overall raised more than $400,000. Thank you to all of our family and friends who so generously donated.

All around the track are tents sent up for each of the participating teams. There are various money making events set up throughout. Eryn and Ely were thrilled to try a rock wall for the first time. Ely just scrambled right up the wall. Eryn was a little hesitant at first, but once she heard there was a button to push when you reached the top, her competitive nature kicked in and she also scrambled right up, dress and all.
