The
NAGA grappling tournament was the day before we left for vacation. Both Tim and Ely competed this time. Ely did a great job in his first competition and is very excited to compete again.
The clinch. They do this before Ely's matches. (Doesn't this make you tear up.)
The arena. Each one of the black squares is a "ring" where a match takes place. Multiple matches take place at the same time.
Tim faced some tough competitors and won first place in his division. This has been a goal of his since he started competing a year and a half ago and I'm so glad that I was there to see him win.
