Finn School Part 2

When the school year started this year, (see Finn School here) Finn was working on Montessori type activities at the table while I worked on school with Eryn and Ely. That was working well but required a lot of planning on my part, so I kind of burned out. Fortunately, he has a big imagination and lots of educational toys, so his table time is now spent playing with various toys.

He's also learned how to spell and write his name (not from me).

The rest of our time is spent following his varied interests and answering his very detailed questions and of course lots of reading. Some of his current interests are: The sewer/water treatment system, the subway, plants that eat animals (like the Venus Fly Trap), sea turtles...
