Weekend Away

 To celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and our upcoming birthdays, we went to Chattanooga for the weekend.  Just us...

 and one little stowaway.

 It was very hot, but we walked a lot - went to some shops and galleries.  We also listened to some live music and had some really nice meals. 

After we ran out of places to walk downtown, we went to the Chattanooga Arboretum and Nature Center.

 As you can see the bald eagle has nothing on Tim.

 

 I think the bobcat might have him on the pounce, but not the long jump.  You can see the bobcat watching in the left center of the bottom picture.

This is a life sized replica of an eagle's nest.  I'm not sure if Tim is waiting for the eagle to feed him or eat him.

  Cael did a great job on a little hike.

Many thanks to the Brannens for watching our other kids!   They had a great time with their cousins.
