We finally got around to trying out our rock tumbler. Before and after pictures are show below. It worked really well. The rocks are smooth and definitely show some color variation, but none of them look like the semi precious rocks pictured on the box.
Klutz suction cup kit. This was Ely's kit and he read the instructions and did it all himself.
Watercolor doilies.
Klutz paper fashions made by Eryn and her friend Kylie. I love all the little details with this kit.
Sun paper. This was fun for everyone. I didn't take pictures of the finished pages, but it was really interesting to see how each kid had their own approach to design and layout.
Branch weaving. The start of Ely's weaving is pictured below. Eryn's was really coming along beautifully until Finn accidentally broke the branch.
Felt flower barrettes, pin, and ring from a Martha Stewart kit. The materials included with this kit are very good quality. We gave up on the glue that came with the kit pretty quickly and went right for the glue gun.
This next one was actually part of our science program, but it is kind of crafty. We are studying chemistry this year and these are atoms built with marshmallows.
