Happy Thanksgiving

This morning when I woke up I had a surprise - Ely had put a card under my pillow while I was sleeping. He said it was a Mother's Day gift. I remember now that several weeks ago he said he was going make me a Mother's Day gift on Thanksgiving - what a sweet boy!

Here are some of our Thanksgiving traditions:

Every year we adopt a Turkey from Farm Sanctuary. This is our turkey for this year: Serendipity.

First thing this morning the kids went to get our favorite veg friendly Thanksgiving books:

A Turkey for Thanksgiving

Tim is out right now running the Thanksgiving Day Half-Marathon and we will head over to Grandma and Grandpa Earley's for dinner this afternoon.
