We had a four day weekend due to a school holiday in October, so we went camping in Asheville with my sister's family.

On the second day, we went to the Western North Carolina Nature Center where Cael checked out his wingspan. We lucked out that a lot of the animals were active at the time we were there. Then we headed into Asheville for lunch at a vegetarian restaurant, Rosetta's Kitchen.
On Monday we were happy just to spend time at the campground, It rained a ton the night before so there was a new pond which kept the little boys busy. We checked out some bikes from the campground. Since there were not many people there they let us keep them longer. We loved the four person bikes and had fun racing the individual bikes.
My sister played some music for us.
